    Our client is a technology startup backed by a major international technology corporation, and headquartered in Germany. We specialize in the development and implementation of digital twins for complex industrial facilities. Our cutting-edge SaaS software already empowers leading companies around the world in the Oil & Gas, Steel, and Food & Beverage sectors to digitally map, optimize, and enhance the efficiency of their operations. This is a hybrid position involving an onsite presence at the offices, remote working from home and extensive travel to Europe, Asia and the Americas.

    Born within an internal incubator, we are a post-product and are already making solid seven-digit revenues. Now, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and are seeking a visionary interim leader to help us reach that next stage by raising funds, executing the spin off, and solidifying our processes. If it is the right fit, the role also could become permanent.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Short-term fundraising of growth round (>10 mEUR), most likely with strategic investors
    • Execute the spin-off from the corporate, including incentivization of the founders
    • Develop and implement scalable business infrastructure and processes to overcome typical growth stage pain points
    • Lead and develop a high-performing management team (e.g. CTO, CSO)
    • Retain existing customers and secure new customers, represent externally to partners and stakeholders
    • Develop the company's strategy, including a roadmap of additional business models and markets

    Your profile

    • Proven track record as a founder in scaling a B2B technology company (growth stage)
    • Successful in raising funds in growth stage from institutional or strategic investors
    • At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in leadership roles
    • Good understanding of the process industry, digital technologies and industry 4.0
    • Exceptional communicator across audiences, from engineers to investors
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with growth-oriented leadership, emphasizing innovation
    • Proven success in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams founded on psychological safety and trust
    • High energy, resilience, and emotional intelligence — able to inspire teams, overcome challenges, and maintain balance under pressure
    • International business experience and fluency in English
    • MBA or comparable degree preferred
