    The Role

    Your mission

    GotPhoto is seeking an enthusiastic People Operations Manager to join our People & Culture team in Berlin (working from our office at least twice a week) to ensure our People Operations run smoothly and employees receive timely, compliant support.

    As we grow and expand, we recognize the need for a dedicated People Operations Manager to join our team and help us scale our processes with operational excellence. This role will act as the main point of contact for People Ops topics in Europe, providing accurate payroll, documentation, and employee support throughout the employee lifecycle.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing our People Operations in Europe (Germany + Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal) with your colleague Mailin
    • Managing payroll and benefits in Europe in collaboration with our external payroll provider
    • Owning and updating employee data and files, including contracts, certifications, and work permits
    • Managing the onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes for employees across Germany, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands
    • Maintaining and improving our HRIS (Personio), ensuring accurate data and efficient reporting
    • Owning of health & safety tasks in Europe and supporting ongoing compliance topics

    We are looking for:

    • 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, ideally in start-ups or international environments
    • Professional understanding of German labor, tax, and social security law. - European legal understanding is a plus!
    • Proficiency with HRIS tools (preferably Personio) and strong process management skills
    • Tech savviness - it's easy for you to come up with creative solutions to use our internal applications (Personio, Probiono, etc.) to automate and digitalize certain tasks
    • Fluency in German (C1+) and strong English communication skills
