We are Telura, a young and ambitious start-up in the field of drilling, e.g. for geothermal applications. Our mission is to drill deeper than ever before and make yet abundant resources available.
We are now looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join us early and play a key role in shaping our success story!
Tasks
- Develop and design our drill bit and drilling system – from initial concept to market launch
- Build prototypes and conduct testing and validation
- Work closely with the founders and product team on product strategy and technical decisions
- Set up and improve processes for development and manufacturingSelect and collaborate with external partners and suppliers
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 2–5 years of professional experience in product development, design, or manufacturing engineering
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) and common manufacturing technologies
- Hands-on mentality: you enjoy building, iterating, and finding creative solutions
- Structured and independent working style, with a willingness to take ownership
- Willingness to travel occasionally to partners, suppliers, and customer sites
- You are comfortable working in a hybrid setup (remote + on-site collaboration when needed)
- Ideally, experience working in a start-up or dynamic development environment
