We co-founded and led Viafintech (Barzahlen) to 100+ FTE , one of the most successful German fintechs, active in 17 markets across the EU and USA, and sold it in 2021 for a € three-digit million amount to NYSE-listed Paysafe Group.

Now we’re off to our next venture. This time we’re building a global champion for prepaid products: gift cards (Apple, Amazon, Google), airtime and eCash all in one simple API. Think of finperks as a stripe/adyen for all prepaid products and payments.

We started in summer 2025 and in just a few months we have already onboarded 700+ brands, and our first client goes live by the end of the year.

Many people completely underestimate the market size: about €600bn sold per year today, going to €1.8tn by 2028.

Instead of 5 players in the chain (brand → issuing tech provider → global distributor → local distributor → client), we connect brands directly with clients via the finperks platform. Today 95% of prepaid is still sold in the Global North; we believe that for the gig economy to monetize the Global South, prepaid will be key - from Netflix and Google to Apple and Uber.

Aufgaben

As a Founders Associate, you’ll work directly with our founding team across all key areas - from strategy and business development to operations and growth. You’ll act as an entrepreneurial right hand, driving projects end-to-end and pushing forward initiatives that shape Finperks’ trajectory. This is a full-time role designed for ambitious individuals eager to take ownership and make a visible impact in a fast-moving fintech startup.

You will:

Lead and execute cross-functional projects across product, go-to-market, and operations
Collaborate closely with the founders on strategic priorities, fundraising, and growth initiatives
Research and analyze markets, competitors, and business models in fintech, APIs, and prepaid ecosystems
Prepare investor materials, client presentations, and data-driven analyses for strategic decisions
Manage and improve internal processes to enable scalability and growth efficiency
Coordinate with partners and clients (e.g., major brands and distributors) to refine product-market fit
Take ownership of operational challenges and turn ideas into actionable results

Qualifikation

6–12 months of relevant work experience in startups, consulting, investment, or fintech
Proven ability to manage projects independently and take full ownership from planning to execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and modern tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, AI tools)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German fluency is a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality and willingness to learn fast
Passion for entrepreneurship, venture building, and technology
