    Role Overview

EUSMS is seeking a proactive and organized person to support us in grant management and application coordination. The focus of this role is on vetting opportunities, ensuring organizational readiness, and managing the internal process of assembling successful grant applications. You’ll act as a project manager for funding applications—coordinating documents, checking internal compliance, and steering submissions—rather than primarily searching for new grants.

This is a strategic volunteer role at the heart of our resource mobilization efforts, helping fund scholarships, hardship relief, and grassroots humanitarian programs across East Africa.

You’ll work closely with the CFO and a small team (2–4 volunteers) to manage the grant lifecycle. You'll use Odoo CRM and the Microsoft 365 suite (especially Lists, SharePoint, and Outlook) to coordinate submissions, track pipeline progress, and manage documentation. Strong collaboration with field teams in Kenya and Uganda will be essential for building localized, evidence-based applications.
