    Your tasks

    As a FirstSpirit Developer, you will develop modern and powerful digital solutions based on the FirstSpirit CMS. Together with the team, you will accompany our customer projects from conception and implementation through to going live and continuous further development. You will work closely with designers, UX experts and other developers to implement customized and high-performance solutions.

    Typical tasks are:

    • Technical conception, development and implementation of solutions based on the FirstSpirit CMS.
    • Integration of FirstSpirit into existing system landscapes, including connection to third-party systems (e.g. e-commerce, CRM, PIM).
    • Development of FirstSpirit templates, content projects and modules.
    • Support with the migration and optimization of existing FirstSpirit solutions.
    • Close collaboration with customers and internal teams to identify and implement requirements.
    • Ensuring performance, scalability and maintainability of the developed solutions.
    • Support with deployment processes and operation of the solutions. Thanks to individual training opportunities, you will always be at the cutting edge of technology at Ergosign. At the same time, you can actively contribute your ideas to innovation projects and master exciting challenges as part of a team.

    Your skills

    • Degree in computer science (or related field) desirable.
    • Sound knowledge of development with FirstSpirit CMS (on-prem and/or cloud).
    • Experience with FirstSpirit modules such as Formcentric (formerly Monday Webforms) and SmartSearch an advantage.
    • Very good knowledge of Java and experience with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
    • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
    • Experience with the development of REST APIs in a Java environment.
    • Experience in template development with FirstSpirit SiteArchitect.
    • Experience with FirstSpirit APIs (e.g. ContentCreator API, Access API, REST API) an advantage.
    • Know-how in web technologies (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML) and optional experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue and React.
    • Experience with legacy libraries such as jQuery.
    • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD approaches in the CMS environment an advantage.
    • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
    • High sense of quality and responsibility.
    • Fluent in German and English.
