    Support their team in Munich as a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d).

    Tasks

    • As Quality Assurance Engineer you’ll be essential in upholding the high quality of our clients’ products across all projects.
    • You’ll be collaborating with the development team to develop and evaluate comprehensive test plans encompassing both functional and non-functional requirements.
    • You’ll be collaborating with the engineering team to integrate various end-to-end testing scenarios.
    • You’ll be advising on suitable automation frameworks, administering, sustaining and assessing automation scripts, and suggesting enhancements as necessary.
    • You’ll be crafting and executing detailed test plans and cases utilizing automation tools.
    • You’ll be determining and addressing system issues and defects, escalating them when necessary, and supporting engineers in their validations and resolutions.
    • You’ll be responsible for analyzing bug reports from CRM and/or TechOps teams, prioritizing and providing recommendations for resolution.
    • You’ll be in charge of thoroughly documenting test procedures and findings.
    • You’ll need to proactively identify and address potential issues, proposing innovative solutions, and driving their implementation.
    • You’ll be informing about test cycle results and taking ownership of the reporting process.

    Requirements

    • You have a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
    • You have a profound understanding of software development web technology, IoT, cloud technology, and SaaS.
    • You’ve gained valuable expertise in infrastructure projects which include CI or CD processes.
    • Your knowledge base includes a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Your troubleshooting abilities and critical thinking skills are your go-to tools when faced with challenges, allowing you to navigate complexities effectively.
    • You possess a comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies and the software development life cycle.
    • Taking charge of setting up and maintaining local development environments is a task you handle with confidence.
    • You know how to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
    • Your hands-on experience also includes working with automated testing frameworks like Playwright; familiarity with Storybook is advantageous.
    • You’re well-versed in Agile development processes.
    • Bonus points include: familiarity with JavaScript, Python, Flask, Docker and Kubernetes as well as with performance and/or security testing.
    • You’re proficient in conducting both Frontend and Backend testing utilizing the newest tools and adhering to industry standards; specifically, you’re skilled in automating Frontend web application tests (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright) and utilizing REST API testing frameworks.
    • Collaboration is key to your success, and you’re enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and learning from others as a valued team player.
