As the Finance Manager at Concrete Rep, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial Operations of our growing agency based in Berlin. You will collaborate closely with our Managing Directors and work with international teams to ensure the financial health of the business while contributing to our ambitious growth plans.
Tasks
- Lead the financial bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting for our GmbH entity.
- Be responsible for the month-end and year-end closing process, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in close collaboration with our tax agent.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, including invoicing, payroll, and expense management.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Be the point of contact for our production team and run project controls.
- Prepare reports for management and our artists and clients.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Ensure that financial regulations are being implemented.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or simiar work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in finance roles, preferably within agency, consulting, or project-based environments.
- Solid experience in accounting according to German GAAP.
- Proficiency in financial software such as DATEV, Xero, Excel and Pleo.
- Experience working with international entities and coordinating with external accountants.
- Exceptional communication skills in German and English and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
