Test Engineer - Cloud (f/m/d)

Position Description

As a Test Engineer - Cloud Development, under the technical leadership of the Quality Engineering Director you will be responsible for developing test cases and automated test scripts to maintain the high quality of Cinemo’s cloud-based infotainment solutions and ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate and customer standards/requirements. In this role, you will work closely with both our engineering teams in Hungary and in Germany to understand and implement the scope of the work, use your passion to help maintain our high-quality software and with the use of manual and automated testing techniques. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organization, and technical skills who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development team to integrate QE expertise seamlessly into Cinemo’s development process
• Develop and maintain required test artifacts for Cinemo’s cloud-based solutions
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for new and current manual test cases
• Perform verification of new features, bugs, and regression test (according to artifacts from the development team)
• Analyze/investigate test results (manual and automated tests) and report bugs if required
• Produce requirements traceability matrices, automation feasibility analysis, time estimations
• Suggest improvements for any missing/misleading testing documentation or inappropriate scripts to fulfill validation criteria
• Execute agreed procedures aiming to maintain the quality of Cinemo solutions
• Suggest procedure improvements aiming to improve the quality of Cinemo solutions

Experience & Skills

• Experience in functional testing
• Experience in API testing
• Experience in automated test tools, techniques and frameworks
• Experience with writing test cases, executing test cases, creating bug tickets etc.)
• Strong test analysis skills
• Scripting Skills (Python)
• Experience with Jenkins, Jira, Testrail, Confluence
• Experience with testing cloud-based services
• Experience with content providers (like Apple Music, Amazon Prime Music, etc.)
• Very good written and verbal English communication skills
