Technical Writer (f/m/d)

Position Description

As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience for both our valued customers and Cinemo's internal staff through comprehensive documentation. Creating new content, reviewing, editing and advisory tasks are integral part of your day-to-day. As a member of the Technical Writing Team you will work within the Digital Transformation Department, a group on the forefront of transforming Cinemo's business and associated systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and edit a diverse cross-section of technical, non-technical, internal, and customer-facing documentation
• Interact, cooperate and co-create with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Get involved with analyzing customer-reported technical issues and transform the resulting information into meaningful documentation
• Collect and provide feedback about Cinemo's documentation and drive quality improvement efforts
• Proactively participate in content-related decision-making and conceptualization

Experience & Skills

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency
• Background or experience in the Software Engineering industry, preferably in roles that involve documentation or business analysis
• Working knowledge of versions control systems, familiar with basic repository operations
• Comfortable with working on content outside of WYSIWYG editors
• Technical fluency and interest, able to grasp complex engineering concepts
• Experience with the Atlassian software ecosystem (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket) is a plus
• High quality standards and internal expectations towards own work
• Good understanding of the agile software development lifecycle
• Communicative, well spoken, able to discuss complex ideas with different target audiences in a meaningful way
• Comfortable with conducting technical interviews and investigations in person
