IT Generalist (f/m/d)

Position Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile IT professional to join our team as an IT Generalist. In this role, you will wear multiple hats, providing technical support, managing applications, and taking the initiative on projects. You will be a key contributor to our IT infrastructure and play a crucial role in ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and administering applications and services (on-premises or cloud-based)
• Manage M365 services, including user accounts, security settings, and device management
• Take ownership of assigned IT projects, planning, tracking, and delivering them on time and within budget
• Research and learn new technologies independently to stay up-to-date with the evolving IT landscape
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on servers and network devices, implementing security updates, and monitoring system performance
• Providing technical expertise and support to colleagues and stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT role
• Proficient in basic server administration, network troubleshooting, and IT security principles
• Project management experience, or demonstrated ability to manage projects independently
• A strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Atlassian applications (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft 365 services (EntraID, Intune, Defender) is a plus
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
