PR and Editorial Manager (m/f/d)

As the PR and Editorial Manager at Cardino, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand narrative, building media relationships, and crafting compelling content to engage our audience. You will be responsible for managing press communications, securing media opportunities, and developing high-quality content across various platforms. You will gain an invaluable insider’s perspective into the workings of a disruptive startup in the EV space.

Tasks

• Active media outreach and relationship building with journalists in the automotive, business and technology sectors
• Manage Press Communication with journalists, answering queries etc.
• Crafting compelling narratives for press
• Securing and preparing media interviews, media commentaries, speeches at events and conferences in the industry
• Building exclusive cooperations with relevant media
• Preparing high quality content incl. Press Releases, White-papers, quarterly reports
• Conducting market analysis, company analysis and translating it into high-quality, value adding reports, exclusive content
• Supporting our Content Manager into translating the big stories into SEO-optimized blog pieces
• Backlink building, scouting external partners for guest posting
• Potential other content development: such as videos’ infographics etc

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in PR, media relations, or editorial management, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts.
• Proficiency in content creation tools and platforms, as well as SEO best practices.
• Thinking outside the box, seeking new innovative ideas
• Ability to analyze data to inform content strategy and decision-making.
• Multi-tasking and capability to catch up with fast-paced environemnt
• Proactive attitude, with a track record of taking initiative and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual/ Native German speaker, proficient English
