  • We're looking for an experienced Product Design Manager to lead the Product Design team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the design strategy for the vertical, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will focus on leading and developing a high-performing team of Senior Product Designers, driving the creation of exceptional designs that meet both user needs and business goals.

    <strong>About the role</strong>

    As a Product Design Manager, you will be responsible for setting quality standards across the Product vertical and supporting the professional growth of your direct reports.

    You will lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Designers to deliver exceptional designs that meet both user and business needs. To achieve this, you will define and execute research strategies, implement key initiatives, and establish processes, frameworks, and best practices that enable informed decision-making across various products within the Bolt ecosystem.




    <strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:</strong>

    • Steering the vision and setting a high standard for design quality and user experience.
    • Building, leading and developing a high-performing team and fostering their professional growth and development. 
    • Developing and executing design strategies that align with the product's business objectives and user needs. 
    • Promoting and utilising user research to inform and validate design decisions, ensuring user-centred design practices.
    • Collaborating with user researchers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to comprehend project requirements and limitations. 
    • Establishing and managing design guidelines, patterns, and projects to ensure consistency. 


     

    <strong>About you:</strong>

    • You have experience as a Product Design Manager, preferably in a fast-paced technology or internet-based company, and a proven track record of shipping digital products that serve millions of users. 
    • You have proven experience managing teams and possess strong English communication and collaboration skills, making you a great leader.
    • You have an excellent portfolio showcasing various design works for mobile and web platforms, including user interface and user experience design.
    • You're highly proficient in design tools and software, including Figma, Jira, Confluence, and various usability testing tools.
    • You're a highly creative individual who takes the initiative in finding solutions to problems and takes ownership of your work.
    • You stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and emerging technologies to apply this knowledge to your work.
