We are hiring a Junior Finance Manager to join our team in Berlin, Germany.

BlueYard is a thesis-driven venture capital firm based in Berlin. We invest in early-stage technology startupsmainly across Europe and the US. As a Junior Finance Manager at BlueYard you will report directly to the CFO and General Counsel and play a key role in the operations of our funds.

Tasks

Manage, coordinate and review all aspects of the outsourced fund administration and fund accounting set-up, including capital calls, distributions and invoice management
Support investor reporting, including preparation for annual audits
Carry out financial analysis and track portfolio company KPIs and financials
Assist with AML, tax filings and compliance workflows
Support the finance and legal team in administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

Academic background in finance or a related field
First professional experience in a finance team
Detail-oriented, reliable, and highly organized
Proactive mindset; comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on mentality: We are a small team, no task is too small or unimportant
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is a plus
