Tasks
- Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Build new features and endpoints in close collaboration with our product and design teams
- Help scale our backend services and infrastructure, including managing tasks and jobs
- Work closely with our AI/ML engineer to integrate ML models and our LLM pipeline into production
- Design and implement robust data models in our Postgres database
- Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline for automated testing and deployment
- Implement monitoring and observability systems to keep an eye on the performance and accuracy of our backend and AI components
Requirements
- Solid professional experience in backend development with Python, ideally using FastAPI
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including data modeling and performance optimization
- Experience integrating ML models or LLM-based applications into production environments
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining testing suites
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (like AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD principles
- A collaborative mindset, initiative, and motivation to work in a dynamic startup environment
Bonus Points
- Experience with Supabase
- Experience creating services for mobile front-end frameworks such as Flutter
- Knowledge of MLOps principles and tools
