Teacher Operations Manager (all genders)

We are looking for a Teacher Operations Managertojoin our team in the heart of buzzing Berlin! .

As Teacher Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end operational setup and management of our German teacher cohort for Babbel’s (Intensive German) Integration course. This includes everything from recruiting and onboarding to training and ongoing support, ensuring teachers are set up to create excellent learning experiences in creative, scalable, and measurable ways.

You will:

Ideate and implement scalable systems for teacher hiring, onboarding, scheduling, communication, feedback, and performance tracking etc.
Be the go-to operational point of contact for our teachers, ensuring they have what they need to succeed, troubleshooting issues, and reinforcing high standards of delivery for our courses.
Manage teacher supply by coordinating availability, scheduling, and coverage across multiple cohorts.
Set up teachers in our learning management systems (LMS) and ensure they are ready to deliver high quality courses.
Establish clear operational policies to enable high levels of consistency, reliability, and accountability.
Support broader course operations, acting as a key enabler for smooth, well-coordinated course delivery.
Act as a bridge between curriculum and tech teams, ensuring alignment and communication flows effectively from planning through delivery.
Build trust with our teachers, including handling interpersonal friction or performance issues with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.

You have:

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Practical experience using Google Workspace, Zoom, and no-code/low-code tools (Airtable strongly preferred).
Full working proficiency in English (C1–C2) and fluency in German (B2–C2).
Strong communication skills, including experience collaborating across functions such as IT, Curriculum, Customer Service, Product, and Engineering.
