  • Responsibilities

    At Aroundhome, we operate an online platform helping houseowners find the right partner for their projects. As a platform, we run complex systems and processes to support our customers and colleagues in Sales and Customer Care. As a company of around 250 people, we seek an experienced and proactive Internal Technology Administration Manager to lead and guide our team of Internal Technology Administrators.

    You will report to the Director of Technology and work closely with the Team Leads Technology to ensure the smooth operation and modernisation of our internal IT landscape systems, which includes our internal and office hardware, software tools, and processes.

    • Lead, mentor and manage a small team of Internal Technology Administrators (with 14 years of experience at Aroundhome), fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
    • Oversee the administration and maintenance of internal systems, including servers, networks, office and home-office equipment, Helpdesk system, and our internal software stack (Microsoft Entra ID/Intune, Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, Slack, Telephony solutions such as Aircall,Twilio, etc.)
    • Plan, budget, and carry out challenging IT projects to update our internal technology and processes, supporting the entire organization
    • Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems through regular audits and updates
    • Ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of our IT infrastructure, staying up to date with industry trends and new technologies
    • Support, centralise and oversee the procurement, implementation and utilization of software and hardware in a cost-effective manner, working closely with various departments
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for technology usage, and systems operability (maintenance, backup, security, and modernization)

    Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 7+ years of relevant experience
    • Demonstrated success in a similar managerial role, preferably within a technology-driven organization/company
    • Strong technical background with practical, hands-on experience in system administration, network management, and software support
    • Proven track record in implementing and migrating Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively in both German and English
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
