Tasks
What You’ll Do:
- Take full ownership of our Flutter mobile application, from architecture to release
- Work closely with Moritz (CTO) to implement features quickly and efficiently
- Build, test, and optimize media-heavy user flows (uploading, compressing, storing photos and videos)
- Integrate with Firebase backend and ensure secure, scalable data handling
- Lead performance optimization and help set best practices for mobile app development
- Maintain a high bar for code quality and app responsiveness
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of mobile development experience, with 3+ years in Flutter
- Deep experience building and scaling social or media-rich apps
- Hands-on experience with media handling, compression, and video/image optimization
- Proficient with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Functions)
- Strong product sense and an ownership mentality—you treat the app like it’s your own
- Comfortable working full-time or beyond (50-60 hours/week) in a remote, fast-moving environment. This is very important to us.
