About the Role – Performance Marketing Manager Germany
Truestory is looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to join our German
team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our data-driven marketing
strategy across digital channels,
With support and guidance from our Danish headquarters and the German Country
manager, you will take complete ownership of our paid marketing channels in Germany
(Google Ads, Meta, TikTok)
In addition, responsibilities will extend to other platforms such as Bing, Pinterest and
affiliates.
What you do:
Define & Execute Paid-Media Strategy
Set clear ROAS, CPA and revenue targets, and continuously adapt your approach based on local consumer insights and seasonal trends.
Localised Campaign Creation
Build, launch and manage campaigns in Google Ads, Meta, Bing and TikTok, ensuring all ad copy, creatives and extensions are fully adapted to our market and audience.
Budget Management & Pacing
Allocate and optimize spend across channels and regions, monitoring performance daily and adjusting bids to stay on track with weekly and monthly goals.
Continuous Performance Optimisation
Review key metrics (CPC, CTR, conversion rate) in GA4 or PowerBI, identify underperforming elements and iterate quickly to boost efficiency.
Feed Optimization
Optimize product feeds (e.g., for Google, Meta and affiliate channels) using structured data, feed rules and quality control, alongside ongoing testing to enhance visibility, relevance and conversion rates.
A/B Testing & Experimentation
Design and execute structured tests for ad copy, visuals and landing pages - roll out winning variants at scale to maximise conversion uplift.
Audience Segmentation & Targeting
Develop detailed segments by region, interests, geographics, demographics and on-site behaviour, then tailor messaging and bid strategies for each group.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with Brand, Supply and Management to align on messaging, promotional calendars and asset production (Local and cross country).
Insight-Driven Reporting
Produce weekly and monthly reports that highlight campaign health, budget pacing and ROI; present actionable insights to management.
Trend & Competitor Monitoring
Stay on top of local advertising innovations, emerging channels and competitor activity - proactively suggest new tactics (e.g., German affiliate networks or niche social platforms).
