Aufgaben

As a Fullstack React & Ruby on Rails Engineer (m/f/x), you will actively shape and evolve our workforce management platform together with a small, experienced team based in Hamburg or remote.

You will:

Take an active role in our Ember.js → React migration

(React, Tailwind, Tanstack-Router, Capacitor.js)

Advance and maintain our Rails-based REST API

(Rails, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, RSpec, …)

Design and implement new product features end to end
Continuously evaluate, improve, and refactor existing code
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
Be part of our agile planning and delivery process

Qualifikation

Strong experience with React and modern frontend development (state management, component architecture, hooks, performance, e2e testing)
Practical experience building production-grade React applications
Solid understanding of modern frontend tooling and ecosystems (Tanstack-Router, Tailwind, Vite/Webpack, REST APIs, etc.)
Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, including working on APIs and business logic (Rails, MySQL, Memcached, Redis, RSpec, GitHub, …,)
Ability to design and implement complex features with non-trivial business requirements
Comfortable working with remote and on-premise teams
Native German speaker and fluent in English
Enthusiasm for AI technologies and hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to improve development workflows
