    Your Opportunity

    You will be part of the Platform Team which owns a multitude of services related to data and user management, as well as connections with adjacent systems for Sales and Marketing purposes. We carry out a wide range of functionalities with our microservice architecture and integrate the best available methods in the industry. You will help bridge the gap between low-level simulation software with very particular demands in terms of infrastructure and scalability and high-level workflows.     What we expect from you

    • A degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
    • 5+ years of professional experience as a developer of backend software in a professional (non-academic) Linux based environment
    • Very good and practical knowledge of Java and SQL
    • Hands-on experience with cloud providers (like Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
    • General knowledge of internals: Linux, JVM, network protocols (like HTTP)
    • Fluency in unit testing and continuous integration
    • Willingness to learn and adapt (especially to new programming languages and paradigms), getting things done attitude
    • Sensibility towards information security
    • Knowledge of Scala or Kotlin as well as experience with Gitlab CI/CD are a plus

    Your dedicated Talent Acquisition Manager for this role will be Lisa. After an initial, positive conversation with her, you will get the chance to speak with the hiring manager Johannes. In the third step of the interview process we’d like to gain some insight into your technical skillset by sharing a task with you to work on.
