As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of both backend and frontend development for complex e-commerce projects, with a strong focus on Shopware 6. You will work in a fully remote, agile environment, collaborating closely with project managers and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Your role will include developing new features, improving existing workflows, and exploring modern web technologies to enhance project efficiency and user experience. You will have the autonomy to make technical decisions while maintaining structured and efficient processes. Accountabilities
- Configure, develop, and maintain complex Shopware 6 projects, ensuring robust backend functionality and seamless frontend integration.
- Work across backend (PHP/Symfony, Python) and frontend (JavaScript, Vue.js, React) technologies to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Take technical responsibility within projects, collaborating closely with project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Develop innovative ideas to enhance e-commerce platforms and improve efficiency.
- Continuously explore and adopt modern web technologies and best practices.
- Maintain high code quality, documentation, and structured development workflows.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of practical experience in full-stack development with a focus on backend systems.
- At least 2 years of experience with Shopware 6.
- Proficiency in PHP (Symfony) and ideally Python.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- Routine experience using Git for version control.
- Strong sense of responsibility, quality awareness, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Independent, structured working style with excellent problem-solving skills.
- C1 level proficiency in German.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
