ESG & Compliance Manager (m/w/d)

Our international client is active in project development, financing, realization and operation of solar parks and offering the most comprehensive product ranges across the whole industrial chain. As a pioneer in exploring the Renewable Energy Industry as a Clean Energy Solution Provider devoted in all sectors related to the renewable energy, the cumulative global installed photovoltaic capacity has totaled > 10 GW, making our client a leading player in the solar industry. The European organization is headquartered in Hamburg and comprises of currently ca. 80 employees. Since 2016 our client is a valuable player to support the targets for the energy transition across Europe.

Tasks

• Define and set up the overall ESG & Compliance structure
• Coordination of a yearly compliance report and the coordination of the required measures related to the ESG compliance
• Define, implement and refine over time the code of conduct for all employees based on the existing code of conduct from HQ, including an Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption policy
• Define, implement and refine over time the supplier code of conduct for suppliers based on the existing code of conduct from HQ
• Define, implement and refine over time an applicable hospitality guideline
• Define and implement a data protection policy which fulfills the legal obligation in each of the countries within the Europe scope
• Implement the legal obligation to install a whistle blower process.
• Define and implement a health and safety policy within the Chint Solar Europe organization.

Requirements

• Sufficient formal education
• Academic qualification in business administration, law or others
• Five years experience in ESG and/or compliance role in companies or consulting firms
• Experience in international firms
