The role
As a DevOps Engineer at GALVANY, you'll manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our AI-based Operating System, ensuring reliability and scalability for heat pump and energy system management from homes to our Virtual Power Plant.
Automate CI/CD processes and monitor cloud environments for optimal performance.
Support engineering teams in deploying features that advance the energy transition.
Utilize AI and LLMs to optimize DevOps practices and navigate the Gen AI ecosystem.
Tech Stack: Backend with GoLang; ML with Python, PyTorch, and LLMs; Frontend with React, Tailwind, and Shadcn; Mobile with Flutter; General tools including Azure, GitHub, Linear, Notion, Kafka, Benthos (data pipeline), n8n / Kestra (workflow engine), and low-code process automation platforms.

What we require
Experience. 5+ years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g., top-tier consulting, fast-scaling startups, or similar).
Track Record. Proven end-to-end responsibility in infrastructure/DevOps. From ideation to release.
Background. Strong background in relevant fields, e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Technical Skills. Coding skills with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar. Strong Terraform IaC experience.
Mindset. Self-driven problem-solving mindset – no need for micromanagement or specific tickets.
Technical Aptitude. Technical mindset with a passion for understanding systems, data flows, and integrations, coupled with enthusiasm for continuous learning and problem solving.
Language. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
