  • The Scope

    Shape How FSC Attracts Talent Globally
    At Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), we are on a mission to protect forests and the people and 
    ecosystems that depend on them. Delivering this mission requires attracting exceptional talent 
    across a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
    We are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager (m-f-d) who takes full ownership of recruitment 
    processes end-to-end and brings strong expertise in active sourcing and stakeholder management to 
    strengthen our global hiring capabilities.

    The Role
    This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple 
    functions and regions, while acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers.
    You will play a key role in driving hiring quality, improving processes, and strengthening FSC’s 
    employer brand in a complex international environment.


    Main Roles & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities 
    End-to-End Talent Acquisition Ownership 

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from hiring manager intake to offer across global roles.  
    • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and success profiles.  
    • Lead interviews and guide hiring teams to ensure structured and objective decision-making.  
    • Drive offer management and negotiations with selected candidates.
    Active Sourcing & Talent Market Engagement  
    • Proactively identify and engage top talent through active sourcing (LinkedIn, networks, market mapping).  
    • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles.
    • Apply a market-driven approach to identify and attract high-quality candidates.
    Stakeholder Management & Advisory 
    • Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, providing guidance on hiring strategies and market insights.  
    • Ensure a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the process.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (People & Culture, the Works Council, Procurement, IT) to ensure smooth execution. 
    Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement 
    • Drive standardized, efficient recruitment processes.  
    • Track and analyze key TA KPIs (e.g. me-to-hire, pipeline quality).
    • Contribute to the development of FSC’s employer branding and TA strategy.
    • Support implementation on and optimization on our ATS systems (e.g. Personio)
    Collaboration & Impact 
    • Work across a global, intercultural organization.  
    • Contribute to DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives and fair hiring practices.
    • Support broader People & Culture transformation efforts.  

    Your profile

    You are a hands-on recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities, comfortable operating in complex, international environments. We are looking for you!

    • University degree or equivalent training or experience in a relevant field, such as in Human Resources, Organization & Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 5 years professional experience in recruitment / Talent Acquisition with proven track record in end-to-end recruitment ownership.
    • Proven experience in managing multiple job requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
    • Proven ability to collaborate and build trust across multiple functions and stakeholders, with advisory capabilities and experience working in a multi-cultural global team. 
    • Strong experience in active sourcing / direct search (must-have). Previous experience in a leading headhunting / executive search firm (e.g. agency experience) is highly desirable.
    • Strong organizational capability: Demonstrates a structured, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and proactive drive to deliver results.
    • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must. German language skill would be a strong asset.

    The Fine Print

    Location: Bonn, Germany.  
    Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week. 
    Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance)  
    Starting Date: As soon as possible. 
    Travel: Sporadic (international) travel is required.
