  • What you’ll be working on as our Marketing Designer & Developer (UI/UX)

We’re looking for a Marketing Designer & Developer (UI/UX) to transform our marketing website into a high-performing growth engine and create beautiful, conversion-focused digital experiences across the entire funnel.

In your first year at Filestage, you will:

    • Bring our website vision to life. You’ll translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive WordPress components using the Gutenberg editor, helping us ship new pages and updates at a much faster pace than ever before.

    • Design digital experiences that convert. You’ll partner with our Lead Designer to craft compelling landing pages, campaigns, and marketing assets that support Performance Marketing, SEO, PLG, ABM, and our customer-facing teams.

    • Own the technical health and performance of filestage.io. You’ll make sure our website is fast, stable, mobile-friendly, and optimized for Core Web Vitals — delivering a seamless user journey from first touch to sign-up or demo.

    • Experiment and iterate at speed. You’ll collaborate with marketing strategy owners to launch A/B tests, CRO experiments, and rapid improvements that directly impact pipeline and revenue.

    • Be the go-to partner for cross-functional squads. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product-Led Growth, Sales, and Customer Success to execute web initiatives efficiently and with high quality.

    Life at Filestage

We believe people are more productive when they can choose their own schedule. So we’re proud to offer fully-remote roles that give you the perfect balance between work and life.

Here are some of the benefits you can look forward to at Filestage:

    • Work from where you’re happiest and enjoy a flexible schedule. We’ve been fully remote from the start, giving you the opportunity to meet people all over the world and broaden your horizons.

      • For this role, we’re looking for someone based in Europe to make sure there’s a high time overlap with our team members, customers, and partners.

    • Meet up in real life. We all travel together at least once a year (in normal times) at our team retreat to have fun and get to know each other.

    • Enjoy a strong team culture. We’re a group of knowledge seekers, reflective thinkers, clear communicators, goal owners, problem solvers, and team players. These are the values we strive for to help us achieve our mission.

    • Join a happy team. We’ve been rated five stars on Glassdoor by our lovely team. You can take a look at our reviews here.

    • Create a workspace that suits you. You’ll get a €1,500 budget for hardware, as well €500 for home office to buy whatever you need to do your best work – including a computer, webcam, or standing desk.

    • Get 38 days of holiday. Plenty of time for city breaks, summer escapes, and everything in between. You’ll also get a half day on your birthday to give you a chance to celebrate!

    • Volunteer/Charity Day.  Enjoy a Volunteer/Charity Day to support a cause close to your heart.

    • Continue to grow and develop your career. We care about your development and want you to be able to learn new things! After six months in the company, you’ll get a budget to be able to use for personal development.

    • Make your voice heard. We trust our team members to make the best decisions to achieve their goals, so you won’t have to put up with micromanagers here.

    • Say goodbye to pointless meetings. We practice what we preach when it comes to productivity, so you can expect flat hierarchies, fast iterations, and no bullshit meetings.

What you’ll bring to the role

You have 3–5+ years of experience as a hybrid Web Designer/Developer, ideally in B2B SaaS — and now you’re ready to take ownership of a high-impact website that powers multiple growth engines.

Here are some of the things we’d like to see from you:

    • You’re a UX-focused designer who builds for action. You create intuitive, user-centric experiences and know how to design landing pages that convert — whether the goal is sign-ups, demo requests, or deeper engagement.

    • You’re a WordPress expert. You’re confident working with Gutenberg, building custom blocks, optimizing plugins, and managing a complex marketing site built for speed and scalability.

    • You’re fluent in modern front-end development. You’re skilled in HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+ JavaScript, and you know how to translate static designs into pixel-perfect, responsive components.

    • You collaborate effortlessly. You communicate clearly, work well with marketers, and thrive in cross-functional environments with lots of inputs and high iteration velocity.

    • You take ownership and pride in your craft. From the tiniest interaction detail to overall website performance, you care deeply about the quality of what you create.

    • You understand SEO and performance optimization. You know what it takes to build a technically sound website and are familiar with implementing SEO recommendations.

    • You love working in fast-moving environments. Ambitious goals energize you. You enjoy problem-solving, experimenting, and shipping improvements that drive real business outcomes.

    • You have a strong portfolio. Your work showcases both your design skills and your technical development capabilities — including live websites or components you’ve built.
