    Tasks

    • Test our VR training modules with a focus on gameplay flow, interactivity, and user experience.
    • Conduct targeted usability tests on VR devices such as the Meta Quest and document findings, using gaming best practices.
    • Prepare and configure VR devices for client use, ensuring software and content are up to date.
    • Simulate real user scenarios and evaluate whether training objectives are met effectively through game-like mechanics.
    • Identify and report bugs, inconsistencies, or usability issues using structured QA processes.
    • Support the team in refining test plans and improving the balance between functionality, performance, and user engagement.
    • Contribute to device setup and logistics operations to ensure high-quality hardware and software delivery to clients.

    Requirements

    • Enrolled student in Game Design, Computer Science, Media Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Passion for games and interactive experiences; strong sense for usability and intuitive design.
    • Experience with VR applications or headsets is a strong plus.
    • Reliable, structured, and hands-on working style.
    • Interest in quality assurance, gamification, and immersive technologies.
    • Fluent in English and German.
    • Availability to work on-site in Cologne.
