The role

As a Financial Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in further shaping our risk management framework, working closely with our Risk Lead. You'll be part of a dynamic team tasked with mitigating credit and fraud risks, developing robust risk models, and developing insightful risk reports. Your role will play a key part in directly influencing our strategic decisions and contribute to the overall security and efficiency of our daily operations.

Requirements

Your impact?

• Conduct thorough risk analyses to identify and mitigate credit and operational risks, thereby safeguarding our operations
• Develop and maintain predictive models for credit and fraud risks, ensuring their accuracy through regular monitoring
• Create and disseminate risk reports and dashboards, offering actionable insights and recommendations to manage and mitigate risks
• Lead and manage risk-related initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives
• Facilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing them with the insights needed to make informed decisions
• Offer operational support by leveraging your deep understanding of risk and vetting operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our platform

What makes you a great fit?

• Ideally, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in credit & fraud risk management within the payments or financial services industry
• Advanced skills in SQL scripting, Python analytics, Excel & Google Sheets, risk reporting, and dashboard development
• A proven track record in risk modelling, financial reporting, and the development and optimisation of policy rules & strategies
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English - all other languages are a plus
