  • We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager (1-year contract) to join our Talent Acquisition team in Berlin!

    As the Talent Acquisition team, we drive the strategic growth of Babbel. You can expect to find a diverse and collaborative team with an agile mindset that relies on data-driven decisions and is always striving to bring passionate and diverse talent into the Babbel ecosystem.

    You will:

    • Develop and manage a full-cycle recruiting process for both technical and non-technical positions (from a detailed job briefing to contract management)
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent sources
    • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to hiring managers on hiring strategies, interview techniques, and recruitment best practices
    • Leverage existing talent acquisition channels while exploring new sourcing opportunities
    • Build and manage a steady pipeline of qualified candidates using all available channels (including direct search and agency management)
    • Oversee the interview process to ensure an exceptional candidate experience
    • Serve as an ambassador for Babbel’s culture and actively promote our employer brand

    You have:

    • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment across both technical (e.g., engineering, product, data, design) and non-technical roles (e.g., marketing, sales, finance)
    • Background in high-volume recruitment and/or in a startup environment is preferred
    • High proficiency in recruiting platforms and tools, with hands-on experience in Workday or similar HRIS systems. Greenhouse experience is a plus
    • Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels, supported by in-depth market knowledge
    • A curious mindset, always eager to explore new trends in recruiting and experiment with innovative ways to connect with talent
    • A deep understanding of what motivates people and the ability to quickly assess alignment with Babbel’s values
    • A commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience and building strong talent networks
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to take initiative and foster strong relationships
    • Fluent English language skills; German is a plus
