42 Berlin is a disruptive higher education NGO training 600 students to become cutting-edge software engineers in a practice-based gamified peer-learning environment.

Our model is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded in 2013 in Paris and now trains more than 18.000 students in 50+ schools across the globe.

At 42 Berlin we set out to educate the next generation of software engineers to build a digital future together.

Tasks

Communicate with applicants
Update our website & event pages
Help the team organise and host marketing events
Support the marketing team with the execution of our social media strategy
Support the marketing team in our overall efforts to grow our talented and diverse tech community
Take photos and notes of the events to support Social Media postings
Support with Introduction presentations and Open Day talks

Requirements

Essential:

1-2 years of professional experience in a marketing or sales team
Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
Alignment with our values (inclusive and open minded)
Basic understanding of how Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing works
Fluent written and verbal communication in English
Right to live and work in Germany

Beneficial:

Good understanding of datasheets and basic data processing
An interest in coding/tech and changing the industry for the better
Ability to speak and write in German
