Your mission

SIDES builds a cloud-based POS and payment operating system for the hospitality industry. We connect POS, payments, delivery platforms, kitchen tools, self-order solutions, apps, and webshops into one powerful, fully integrated platform - highly performant, scalable, and reliable, even under heavy load. Thousands of hospitality businesses rely on our technology every day to run their operations efficiently and digitally.

Our tech stack: Flutter (mobile & web), Go, PHP, and AWS - including real POS hardware seamlessly integrated into our system.

Your responsibilities:

Deliver features end-to-end in a cross-functional team, from ideation and design to implementation, rollout, and operations
Work across the entire stack, from backend to frontend
Use AI tools (e.g., OpenCode, Copilot) responsibly and help establish best practices within the team
Ensure operational quality with a strong focus on performance, security, stability, scalability, and observability
Actively contribute to architectural and design decisions
Support and grow the team through mentoring and pair programming
Help define and improve standards for testing, code quality, and CI/CD
Build clean APIs, well-designed data models, and high-performance user experiences

Your profile

Several years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer
Strong experience in backend development with PHP and/or Go, combined with hands-on experience in Flutter
Ability and willingness to work across both backend (PHP/Go) and frontend (Flutter) as part of a unified stack
Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality
Solid understanding of MySQL, relational data models, and API design
Experience with AWS and containerized deployments; Kubernetes is a plus
Systems thinking across architectural and technological boundaries
Independent, structured working style with strong analytical skills
Fluency in English (required); German is a plus
