Your future tasks and responsibilities
Software Release & Change Control:
Act as independent quality approver for major software releases to customers
Ensure that all quality criteria are fulfilled prior to release
Lead software release boards and block releases if necessary
Interface to Customer
Serve as the primary Software Quality contact towards customers during Series Delivery
Risk Management & Escalation
Identify software quality risks early and ensure mitigation plans are in place
Support project teams in root cause analysis of major software quality issues
Software Quality Assurance and Governance:
Define, implement, and maintain the Software Quality Assurance (SQA)
Ensure compliance with: ASPICE, Customer-specific SW quality requirements, Internal development processes and quality gates
Establish and monitor software quality KPIs
What you bring with you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or comparable technical field
Several years of experience in (Automotive) software quality
Embedded systems (ideally safety-related systems such as BMS)
Strong experience with Automotive SPICE (assessment or audit experience highly preferred).
Experience working with OEM customers and their software quality organizations
Solid understanding of Embedded software development lifecycles and V-Model / Agile in automotive context
Familiarity with ISO 26262 (strong plus), Software testing concepts (unit, integration, system, regression) and Configuration and change management
Ability to assess software artifacts (requirements, design, code, test results) from a quality perspective
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to challenge development teams constructively.
High level of assertiveness combined with pragmatism.
Structured, analytical, and risk-oriented mindset.
