Your tasks
At KoRo, our People team is evolving alongside the business — and this role will play a key part in shaping what great People work looks like at scale. As our People Strategy & Projects Lead, you’ll work closely with our VP People to build, challenge, improve, and implement strategic People initiatives across the company.
This is not a typical HR role. You will work from a project and strategy lens: diagnosing challenges, designing solutions, piloting initiatives, rolling them out, and measuring their impact. Rather than owning one fixed area, you’ll work across a variety of high-impact People topics and help shape scalable processes as KoRo continues to grow. Once a framework or process is successfully implemented and running smoothly, you’ll hand it over to the operational teams and move on to the next priority and challenge.
What You Will Do
- Professionalize our People core processes: Including performance reviews, calibration, compensation and salary bands, promotion frameworks, career pathing, onboarding structures and L&D. You drive People topics end-to-end in a structured, consulting-style way from diagnosis through to rollout and impact measurement.
- Act as a strategic sparring partner for the People f unction: You structure complex People topics, prepare leadership decisions, build business cases, and translate strategic ambitions into actionable roadmaps.
- Own cross-functional People projects end-to-end: From organisational design and workforce planning to job architecture, competency frameworks, and manager enablement
- Embed data-driven decision-making: You build the analytical backbone (dashboards, benchmarks, headcount models, compensation analyses) to ensure People decisions at KoRo are evidence-based.
- Drive change management: You ensure communication and adoption are intentionally designed so new processes are actually lived in daily work, not just sitting in a slide deck.
Your profile
- You bring 3–6 years of experience, ideally with a strong consulting background in People/HR strategy, organisational development, or transformation topics.
- You have strong content knowledge in core People topics: You understand compensation & benefits, performance management, job architecture, and organisational design. You don’t need to have done all of it yourself, but you understand what a well-designed compensation band system looks like and what makes a clean calibration session.
- You are highly analytical and structured: You bring structure to ambiguity, build models in Excel/Sheets yourself, tell clear stories with data, and derive decisions from it. Clean slides and concise memos are second nature.
- You have a pragmatic builder mindset: You would rather ship an 80% pilot framework in 4 weeks than a 100% concept that never sees the light of day.
- You have strong stakeholder skills: You operate at eye level with leadership, managers, and the People function, and you know how to move things forward without formal authority.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments: You navigate ambiguity well and prefer progress over endless perfection loops.
- You are business-fluent in English; German is a plus.
Do apply if…
- You get excited by solving complex organizational challenges and building things from scratch
- You enjoy project-based work and feel energized by switching between different strategic topics
- You are someone who creates structure where others see chaos
- You like balancing strategy with execution and want to see your ideas actually being implemented
- You prefer ownership, momentum, and impact over repetitive day-to-day HR operations
This role is intentionally different from a classic HR Business Partner or People Operations position. You won’t own recurring operational processes or recruiting pipelines. Instead, your focus will be on identifying priorities, building scalable solutions, implementing them successfully, and continuously driving the next impactful initiative forward.
