Job Description

We’re seeking a driven Product Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing legal tech companies in Europe as we expand the product capabilities around Marie, our AI phone assistant.

This role focuses on building the product experience around our AI Phone assistant platform, developing the user-facing systems that allow customers to configure, manage, and scale AI phone assistants.

Working closely with Product and Engineering leadership, you’ll operate as a full-stack product engineer, turning product ideas into working prototypes and production features.

For an engineer with strong product instincts and ownership mindset, this is an opportunity to ship quickly, experiment with new ideas, and shape how customers interact with AI-powered voice systems.

Your Challenge and Opportunity in This Role

As a Product Engineer, you’ll help evolve Marie as a product used by law firms across Europe.

You’ll pair closely with Marie’s Product Manager and an AI Engineer to prototype, validate, and ship new features, particularly around self-service functionality and customer-facing workflows. Expect high ownership, rapid experimentation, and building features end-to-end.

Tasks

Build product features for Marie, particularly within the user-facing dashboard and workflows
Develop self-service capabilities that allow customers to manage and configure their AI phone assistants
Implement new features involving AI and ASR together with an AI Engineer
Turn product ideas into quick proof-of-concepts and production-ready features
Work across the stack using Python/Django, cloud infrastructure, and Vue.js
Maintain strong testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Optimize out systems in terms of reliability, performance, and cost
Collaborate closely with Product and AI Engineering to ship features quickly and improve the product experience

Requirements

Technical Expertise

Strong experience building full-stack applications in production
Strong backend experience with Python and Django
Experience working with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar)
Strong understanding of testing practices (unit, integration, E2E)

Product & Ownership Mindset

Experience owning product features or systems end-to-end
Strong product intuition and ability to turn ideas into shipped features
Comfortable building prototypes and iterating quickly
Familiarity with AI-powered products, assistants, or automation tools
Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments
