Jobs in Germany
This is an Atlantic portfolio venture.
About the Venture
We are building a cyber risk platform that helps enterprises understand, measure, and reduce identity risk at scale. We turn complex identity and security data into clear, actionable insights that CISOs and CTOs can trust. Founded by experienced cybersecurity leaders with backgrounds in Israeli intelligence, we are recently funded and building from scratch. The problem is real, the market is large, and we are moving quickly.
About the Role
This is a founding product hire. You will define and shape the product from zero, owning everything from user journeys and information architecture to wireframes, roadmap, and backlog. You will work directly with a technical CEO and CPTO, alongside engineering, security, and data teams, to turn complex risk and identity concepts into something usable and clear. The role is hybrid, based in central Berlin, and carries real ownership over how the platform looks, feels, and works.
What you'll do
Define the product vision and translate it into a clear, actionable roadmap
Design end-to-end user journeys across the platform, from onboarding through to daily usage and advanced workflows
Own wireframes, user flows, and interaction logic from low-fidelity sketches to production-ready concepts in Figma
Define platform information architecture, navigation, and core UX principles
Write PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Own and maintain the product backlog
Drive product discovery, validation, and prioritisation from day zero
Define MVP scope, iterate based on real customer feedback, and resist over-engineering
Design data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, tables, filters, charts, and drill-downs
Ensure complex security and risk concepts are expressed in simple, usable interfaces
Run user interviews and usability testing, and translate findings into product decisions
Represent the product internally and externally with customers, partners, and investors
About You
You are a product person who has built complex B2B platforms before and enjoys the challenge of making difficult concepts feel simple. You are comfortable working in ambiguity, setting your own direction, and moving quickly with a small team. You care about craft but you also care about shipping.
Deep experience designing complex B2B SaaS platforms for technical audiences
Strong Figma skills, including end-to-end flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems
Comfortable writing clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Experience working closely with engineering teams using tools like Jira, Linear, or GitHub Projects
Solid understanding of REST APIs, SaaS integrations, and backend-driven UIs
Experience defining data-heavy dashboards and complex filtering/drill-down interfaces
Strong grasp of UX for complex domains such as security, risk, finance, compliance, or enterprise tooling
Familiar with product analytics and event tracking
Comfortable running user research and translating findings into product decisions
Experience building products from scratch at early-stage companies
Nice to have:
Experience with cybersecurity, IAM, GRC, or risk management platforms
Understanding of RBAC / ABAC, permissions modelling, and role-based UX
Experience working with AI-powered features such as recommendations, scoring, or summaries
Familiarity with data visualisation libraries
Exposure to frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue (no coding required)
Understanding of enterprise buying personas (CISO, CTO, security and risk teams)
Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Why Join
This is a chance to be the founding product person at a funded cybersecurity company, with real ownership over how the platform is built and experienced by users. You will work directly with a technical CEO and CPTO, with fast iteration and strong alignment. Identity risk, AI-driven security, and SaaS access control are among the most interesting and fastest-growing areas in enterprise security. The team is small, the autonomy is high, and the product decisions you make will define the platform.
