This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer with Shopware 6 experience in the European Union.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend solutions for diverse e-commerce platforms. You will work on complex Shopware 6 projects, integrating advanced functionalities and collaborating with frontend developers to deliver seamless user experiences. Accountabilities
- Configure, develop, and enhance Shopware 6 e-commerce platforms to meet client requirements.
- Implement complex backend functionalities and custom extensions for high-traffic online shops.
- Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js, React) to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
- Explore and apply modern web technologies to improve platform performance and usability.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve workflows, features, and customer experience.
- Maintain high-quality coding standards and adhere to best practices in software development.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Shopware 6.
- Strong expertise in PHP, especially Symfony, and Python.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- Proficient with Git and standard development workflows.
- 3–5 years of practical experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Degree or professional training in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
- Professional German language proficiency at minimum C1 level.
- Passion for programming, strong sense of responsibility, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
