    In 2023, we became the lead consultant and On-Site Operations Manager for Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET)—Germany’s state-owned terminal operator, created to respond to the national energy supply challenges triggered by the Ukraine crisis.

    Aufgaben

    HR Leadership & Strategy

    • Lead and continuously improve HR operations across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment support, onboarding, employment, development, offboarding)
    • Act as the primary HR business partner for senior management, providing guidance on organizational, workforce, and people-related decisions
    • Translate business strategy into effective HR policies, structures, and processes
    • Drive professionalization and standardization of HR processes across the organization

    HR Operations & Compliance

    • Own and oversee all HR administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and legal compliance
    • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, GDPR, internal policies, and audit requirements
    • Manage complex employee cases (contract changes, disciplinary matters, exits, legal questions) in coordination with legal advisors when required
    • Maintain responsibility for HR documentation, contracts, and employee records

    Payroll, Benefits & Workforce Administration

    • Oversee benefits administration, payroll, time & leave management, and employee data integrity

    HR Policies, Governance & Processes

    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and company standards
    • Ensure policies are clearly communicated, understood, and consistently applied
    • Act as policy owner and escalation point for HR-related governance topics

    Reporting, Data & Management Support

    • Own HR reporting for senior management (headcount, workforce structure, KPIs, compliance metrics)
    • Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
    • Support management decision-making with structured HR insights and recommendations

    Employee Relations & Culture

    • Serve as the main point of escalation for employee relations topics
    • Promote a positive, professional, and compliant work environment
    • Lead or sponsor employee engagement initiatives, company events, and recognition programs
    • Support leadership in performance management, feedback culture, and employee development

    Systems & Continuous Improvement

    • Own HR systems and tools (Personio as selected tool for implementation), ensuring effective use and continuous improvement
    • Drive automation, process optimization, and digitalization of HR workflows
    • Act as internal HR subject matter expert for systems, processes, and best practices

    Qualifikation

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
    • Several years of professional experience in HR, including HR Generalist, HR Manager, or comparable role
    • Strong, hands-on knowledge of labor law, HR compliance, and HR operations
    • Proven experience advising management on HR and workforce topics
    • Experience coordinating payroll, benefits, and external service providers
    • High level of organizational maturity, discretion, and professional judgment
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all hierarchy levels
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with HR reporting and data-driven decision-making
    • Confident, independent working style with ownership mindset
    • Fluent German & English
