Your Mission:
As an experienced Senior IT Administrator at SoSafe, your primary mission is to empower our team members by configuring and delivering modern, effective and highly automated IT support services and operations. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing our IT systems and processes, enabling us to achieve our mission effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the administration and support of our Microsoft Azure Active Directory / 365 environment, endpoint management and security and other business critical SaaS tools in a hybrid organisation, ensuring seamless functionality and security and a great user experience.
- Collaborate closely with the system engineering team to analyze complex technical issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions and automations.
- Oversee access and identity management requests, maintaining security protocols and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, while speeding up delivery to end-user teams.
- Spearhead improvements to the IT onboarding process for new team members ("Safeys"), providing comprehensive support including laptop/phone provisioning and customized training programs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting hardware issues for laptops, printers, phones, and other devices, offering guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Lead efforts to increasingly optimize and automate IT tasks and processes to reduce toil on the team, improve consistency and deliver a faster and better user experience.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered
- You care deeply about building and delivering a first-class user experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in IT administrator or engineering roles at remote or hybrid scale-ups or technology-driven organizations, with a proven track record of success in managing complex IT environments
- Expertise in the administration of enterprise identity and productivity tools such as Azure AD, Office 365, or similar platforms like Google Workspace
- Proficiency in utilizing and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, with extensive experience in Atlassian products such as JIRA
- Desired experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Meraki, Kandji, Jamf, or Intune, network devices and enhancing our capabilities in device management and security
- An ability to mentor other team members is desirable
