Senior Software Engineer Automotive (C++, Python)

Simi's Automotive division is currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (C++, Python)

• Implementation of solutions for camera-based monitoring systems
• Design and architecture of software solutions
• Automotive software engineering with focus on functional safety and embedded systems
• Transfer of prototypes to automotive grade software solutions
• Integration of automotive busses and hardware drivers
• Conceptualization and implementation of automated testing and deployment

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with focus on software development
• Experience with automotive development in an ISO 26262 environment
• Profound knowledge in C++ and embedded software best practices
• Good knowledge in Python
• Experience in Computer Vision is a plus
• Experience with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I²C and CSI is a plus
• Experience with high performance SOC embedded systems, IPC for processors and hardware accelerators is a plus
• Self-motivated team player with systematic working skills
• Fluent in English, German B2 appreciated
