As Automated Fulfilment Center Lead at Picnic, you are dedicated to driving efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction through strategic process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. With a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for excellence, you are committed to maximizing the performance and profitability of automated fulfillment operations of Picnic.

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance operational processes and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Managing and optimizing the use of automated technologies and systems within the fulfillment center, including robotics, conveyor systems, and warehouse management software.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance operational processes and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure that orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and labor productivity to track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting lean methodologies, facilitating problem-solving workshops, and empower cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.​
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the fulfilment team and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • No nonsense attitude towards 5s (cleaning, organized etc) attitude & skilled in training, coaching & implementing these standards improvements

⭐ About you

  • University degree, preferably in engineering or supply chain management.
  • Bring at least 10 years of experience in large-scale warehousing operations, with a preference for automation expertise.
  • Demonstrate more than 5 years of hands-on experience in lean management and/or value stream design, including relevant LEAN certification.
  • Showcase a proven track record of successful leadership, managing teams exceeding 1000 employees, with at least 50 in leadership roles.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, proficient in data analysis tools such as Tableau and Excel.
  • Hands-on mentality, translating ideas into action and leading by example to drive success.
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and German languages.
