• Installation and Monitoring of the Linux/Unix system software infrastructure.
• Managing user accounts and access management systems.
• Being responsible for backup and recovery policies including security policies, such as patches and upgrades when necessary for vulnerabilities.
• Maintaining complex environments and keeping track of office space utilization tactics
• Ensuring the operations team complies with IT governance policies and procedures, EU GDPR and ITIL

• 5 years plus of experience in a similar role, as system administrator or Linux engineer
• Experience with UNIX and LINUX operating systems, file systems (LVM & VXVM)
• Experience with IT infrastructure, automation tools, server virtualization
• Ideally experience with RedHat/CentOS Linux, AIX, Solaris, VMWare, and X86 hardware
• Veritas Cluster configuration, disaster recovery, and load balancer concepts is a plus
• Fluent English and one other European language
• EU passport or a Blue Card in Germany
