We’re looking for a Security Platform Engineer who will work closely with the Cybersecurity team on designing and implementing security controls and oversee cloud architecture.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 What you’ll do:

• Design and implement cloud and application security monitoring
• Implement best practices for identity and access management
• Perform security assessments and develop threat models
• Integrate security tools into established CI/CD pipelines
• Design and maintain cloud-native infrastructure via Terraform

🏅 What do you need to succeed in this role?

• ​​5+ years minimum in DevOps and security
• Knowledge of industry compliance standards: ISO27001, PCI-DSS, or SOC2
• Experience with key management systems, certificate management, encryption, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, security monitoring tools and SIEM
• Solid knowledge of AWS and its security best practices
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes security and observability
• Knowledge of securing APIs, mobile and web SDKs
• Experience managing infrastructure via Terraform
• Proficient knowledge of one of the programming languages
• Excellent coordination and communication skills

It would be a plus if you also:

• Experience in GitOps
• Golang programming skills
• Experience with Datadog

🙌 Who will you work with?

Kostia joined Mondu in January 2022 as Engineer Director. He started his engineering career as an entrepreneur, creating e-commerce stores for the Ukrainian market. It helped him to develop a customer-centric mindset and learn how to build effective teams.Then he worked as a technical lead in industries such as Gaming, AdTech, and FinTech, where he set up teams from scratch and developed products from ideas to market fit. Before Mondu, Kostia worked on his own B2B FinTech startup in Berlin. With Mondu, he helped to build an engineering department that maintained large-scale systems across five continents and supported organizational growth during multiple financing rounds: from seed until acquisition.
