Test Engineer (m/f/x) Aerospace

To support our team at our customer in the aviation sector, we are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

• Testing and verification of embedded software for aerospace products
• Functional verification in accordance with applicable aviation standards
• Definition of test requirements and test equipment
• Checking and evaluating data from verification
• Creating the associated documentation

• Coordinating the content and timing of tasks in an agile team

Skills:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or similar qualification
• Professional experience in testing & verification of embedded software
• Good knowledge of Python, CAPL or comparable scripting or programming languages
• Professional experience in a process and standard-oriented environment, e.g. aviation, automotive, defense
• Basic knowledge of requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS
• Experience in working with hardware-in-the-loop test systems and embedded debuggers (e.g. Lauterbach T32)
• Analytical and structured way of working
• Fluency in English

• ISTQB certification
• Professional experience in the aerospace industry and standards such as DO-178, DO-254

• German language skills
