About this role : 

We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead in Munich, Berlin, Paris or Madrid to join our Engineering team. Our Data Domain, part of our Product and Technology team, is autonomous and co-functional, operating in an agile environment with a customer focus. We need a leader to help a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain data solutions to collect, manage and convert multiple data sources into actionable intelligence that our stakeholders can use to continually improve our service for our users..

Requirements : 

• Proven experience in development ETL, data flows and processing Data at scale - you know how to process multiple TB of ingested data per day.
• Experience in implementing services and solutions in the realm of Big Data, Analytics, or Data Engineering, with proficiency in cloud platforms (experience in AWS is an advantage).
• Experience with Python, Scala and/or Java.
• Experience with Spark, Flink, MapReduce/Hadoop, or similar products.
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and advanced query authoring (SQL and NoSQL).
• Agile mindset, enthusiasm and passion to design/develop data-driven products.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
