How the role contributes to the company's vision
The Head of Product plays a crucial role in advancing the company's vision by aligning product strategies with organisational goals.
In this role, you will lead product-driven innovation, focusing on steering the transformation of private markets through strategic and value-driven product leadership.
Top responsibilities
- Shape the product vision and strategy, driving organizational alignment and growth opportunities to enhance product success. Drive effective decision-making and action, prioritizing efficiency and execution over excessive planning.
- Foster excellence throughout the product lifecycle by integrating business, engineering, and product strategies, and mobilising cross-functional teams for success.
- Define and track company and department OKRs, establish and monitor product metrics, and guide the team towards achieving set goals.
- Create products that add value to customers and the business, emphasizing cost ownership and operational efficiency.
- Advocate for user interests, deeply understand customer needs, and ensure market alignment to deliver products tailored to the target audience.
- Formulate and communicate a forward-looking product vision for the next 3-5 years, identifying objectives and innovative strategies while proactively addressing potential risks.
- Cultivate a high-performing team of product managers and designers and lead teams by articulating a shared mission that aligns with the company's strategic direction and values.
Initial priorities
- Engage closely with sales, customer success, and operations teams to gain deep insights into customer needs, challenges, and feedback within the private markets. Establish strong relationships and a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics, to lay the groundwork to becoming a clear thought leader in European private markets.
- Assess the short-term roadmap and prioritize key focus areas for the next few months. Challenge existing plans to gain a holistic understanding of the product landscape, balancing new initiatives with improving existing features.
What you should bring with you
- 8+ years in senior and leadership product management roles, particularly in Fintech or SaaS from Seed to Series B companies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead product management, shape strategy, and execute effectively while driving innovation and developing customer-centric products.
- Experience in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing product teams.
- Deep understanding of the product lifecycle and proficiency in cross-functional collaboration, with a demonstrated ability to create clarity and focus in complex and ambiguous problem spaces.
- Forward-thinking mindset and talent for fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity and growth.
- Proven ability to lead an execution powerhouse through effective process development skills and effective stakeholder management.
- Skills in data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics for product strategies.
