Backend Engineer - Crypto

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Backend Engineer - Crypto - candidates need to be based in US/Europe.

We are a new DeFi protocol launching soon on Solana. Our team has years of experience working in Solana for teams like Squads, Kamino, Raydium and more. We are backed by top investors and angels in the space.

Here you will have the opportunity to build with us the first yield trading exchange on Solana. Through us, users can speculate on yields across Solana DeFi (interest rates, rewards, airdrops), hedge them, or reduce their volatility.

Your Role

As an early-stage startup, we are seeking engineers who can iterate and ship quickly as well as have a high degree of ownership and agency. In this role you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable backend services and APIs to power our suite of DeFi products
• Develop, test, and ship new backend features that support our protocol (such as historical charts, transaction history, position performance, etc)
• Manage and optimize our databases
• Work closely with our frontend and product teams to deliver high quality user experiences

Requirements

Backend experience with Python and TypeScript

Strong knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and query tuning

Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud.

Proficiency in web API design and development
