- You will lead our policies and claims engineering team, ensuring project efficiency and timely delivery through coordination with other teams.
- You will oversee team performance, conduct regular meetings, and provide technical guidance when necessary.
- You will ensure that the delivery process adheres to agile software development principles and that projects are completed on time.
- You will address project issues proactively and keep stakeholders updated on the project status. You will also spearhead the implementation of top-tier architectural patterns within your team and in collaboration with other teams.
- You will act as a sparring partner for product managers and other stakeholders, working closely with them on business and technical challenges. Furthermore you will mentor and develop engineers within the team.
This is what you bring to the table
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer working with Node.js and Typescript and 4+ years of experience in managing an engineering team both technically and in the field of people management.
- You possess solid knowledge of Fullstack development (frontend and backend) and cloud agnostic as well as Strong experiences with domain-driven-design principles.
- You have hands-on experience in implementing event-driven solutions, tactical domain-driven implementation (hexagonal architecture) and sound experiences with microservices.
- You are familiar with public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- You have strong communication skills and experience in team development and motivation.
- You are proactive and decisive and like to take things into your own hands while being a true team player who enjoys working with and interacting with colleagues across all company functions and hierarchy levels.
