Full Stack Ruby Developer (f/m/d) #8462

Our partner is the leading provider of air cargo logistics services, responsible for approximately 80 % of the goods traffic at Europe's largest cargo airport in Frankfurt. With over 1,000 employees, they offer the entire product portfolio (airline handling, air cargo security, trucking, etc.) for handling air cargo for customers such as DHL or Kühne + Nagel, focusing on the digital transformation of the supply chain. For example, solutions such as a cloud-based warehouse management system are developed to optimally integrate the needs of customers into their own business processes.

Tasks

• development and refactoring of new scanner applications (back- and frontend)
• building and modifying new software features
• further development of the scanner app using React Native
• quality assurance support during the development and roll-out process
• presentation of new features to stakeholders from time to time
• continuous improvement of software quality
• working in an agile and collaborative scrum-environment

Requirements

• completed apprenticeship or studies in the IT sector or comparable qualification and corresponding practical experience of at least 3 years
• fluent English, both written and spoken (German is a plus)
• very good knowledge in Ruby on Rails
• good knowledge in React or Angular
• experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
• knowledge in the following tools are a plus: React Native, GCP, Heroku, Travis CI, Airbrake

Benefits

• depending on skills and experience: € 65 - 85k p.a.
