About Us: We are a lean, agile startup dedicated to revolutionizing the mobility landscape with our innovative subscription-based mobile app. We are looking for a versatile and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining the core functionality of our product, utilizing WooCommerce, Flutter, no-code tools, and more.

Tasks

Job Description:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

Develop and Maintain Core Features:

• Design and implement backend services to support our subscription-based mobile app using WooCommerce for e-commerce and subscription management.
• Build scalable and secure cloud architecture on Google Cloud to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Cloud and Security:

• Implement robust security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Payment Logic and Software Architecture:

• Design and manage payment logic to handle transactions seamlessly and securely.
• Develop and maintain software architecture to ensure high performance and scalability.

DevOps and Continuous Integration:

• Implement DevOps practices to automate deployment pipelines and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and reliability.

Cross-Platform Development:

• Leverage no-code tools to streamline development processes, automate workflows, and integrate external services.

Collaboration and Innovation:

• Work closely with the front-end team to design and implement intuitive, visually appealing, and optimized user interfaces.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, cloud services, and mobile app development.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Experience and Skills:
• Strong experience in backend engineering with a focus on cloud architecture, compliance, and security.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud, Kotlin, and WooCommerce.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
