Experienced Python Developer for Document Processing Tasks using LLMs (f/m/d) (remote)

Whom are we looking for?
We are in search of a seasoned Python Engineer with specialized expertise in document extraction. The primary responsibility will be to develop and refine mechanisms that process PDFs and other documents from our customers using LLMs. Although there is an existing Python framework in place, the candidate will have the freedom and responsibility to improve upon it. A profound understanding of advanced Python paradigms and concepts, especially Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), is indispensable for this role.

You will: 

• Develop and enhance our data and document extraction mechanisms to process customer PDFs and other documents 
• Work with and improve upon our existing Python framework 
• Lead in the design and optimization of our document extraction solutions 
• Collaborate with technical leads and our Chief Scientist to define and document code requirements 
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications and systems related to document processing 
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to the document extraction processes 
• Actively lead team meetings and brainstorming sessions related to this domain
